Stad Geraardsbergen and Sharma Farm Foodie!!!

So we have good news our gallery has been accepted on the art council of Geraaardbergen. We will be able to post events and have our gallery as a "cultural center" for people to come and visit. At the meeting we were able to meet other entrepreneurs regarding their businesses and passions and how we could possibly work together.

(enjoying a beer with the group)

It will be a great way to network and help network the artists of Geraardsbergen. Additionally, we spoke of the idea of private chef/supper club which seemed to create a lot of interest (another thing i'm going to have to figure out for taxes and legality) but we are happy.

I met a lovely woman from Brazil who has the same idea as us but offers food foraging classes to people, I think with our forest we will be able to schedule a pretty interesting event (not to mention learn a few things).

I am extremely excited for our upcoming projects (finally with no restrictions) and cannot wait to begin. Over the lockdown i learned and perfected (to my capacity) a lot of different dishes from various countries and am excited to share with people.

Im hoping to bring something unique and different to Geraardsbergen, a local place that offers food art and music. Eventually yoga lessons for teachers that do not have a venue, and outdoor theatre in the forest.

We have to wait on finishing some part of our location... new roof and outdoor lighting are kind of essential if you want to host large groups of people ;)

In the mean time I have to concentrate on my exhibitions for my work. This friday I have an opening in Wetteren with two Belgian artists Liliane Demeester and Patrick Lepoutre at Artroze Gallery. The show goes for a month open thursday to friday from 14u - 18u. Please come and show support or enjoy some amazing art work!
